PUBLIC DAY PROGRAM
Because innovation lies within reach for all and because new technologies are transforming the world around us, VivaTech will open its doors to the general public Saturday 18 May 2019, following two days reserved for professionals. Students, families, young adults starting their career – all are welcome to come preview the latest innovations, draw inspiration from rising tech stars at the various shows and conferences, and see into the future through the many experiences and activities.
Women in Tech
In the Dôme de Paris Saturday morning
“Role models”, entrepreneurs, actors, YouTubers – all will be on hand to discuss the place of women in tech and elsewhere in society, along with some comic relief from Bérengère Krief
Court for Future Generations
In the Dôme de Paris Saturday morning
A Tribunal pour les Générations Futures (Court for Future Generations), organized by quarterly French magazine Usbek & Rica, will host a debate on the theme “Did the Internet Kill Democracy?” in a format that mixes content, entertainment and a public vote

A major concert presented by EDF and VivaTech in partnership with Le Parisien.
In Hall 2.2
A never-before-seen video about space, created for VivaTech by the artist Ange Leccia in partnership with RMN Grand Palais, will be projected on the walls of Hall 2.
On Stage X
A major E-sport event with two competitions: Rocket League (RL) and Super Smash Bros Ultimate (SSBU).
Saturday afternoon in the Arena Discovery (Hall 1)
Eight teams compete, each with their own robots built the previous night at Techshop.

A multiplayer racing contest with miniature self-driving cars piloted by artificial intelligence.
In the Dôme de Paris
A spectacular show, combining theatre art with technological innovation, brings together nine actors, among them Srikanta Barefoot from the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil.
